CPSM Study Group
SMPS offers a credential that recognizes your achieved marketing expertise—the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). After analyzing the practice of professional services marketing, SMPS determined the knowledge and skills most critical. The Six Domains of Practice denote the essential tasks and knowledge areas associated with the profession of professional services marketing.
With CPSM credentials behind your name, you demonstrate that you have industry experience and have mastered the SMPS Domains of Practice for Professional Services Marketing.
To sit for the CPSM Examination, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree plus four years of experience in marketing or business development for firms providing professional services
- Possess an associate's degree plus six years of work experience in marketing or business development for firms providing professional services
- Without a degree, have eight years of experience in marketing or business development for firms providing professional services

*SMPS Southeast Michigan will reimburse study group participants 100% for their study materials, and 50% of the exam fee upon passing of the exam. Members are required to attend 75% of the study sessions in order to qualify. Members must also maintain their membership during the year and cannot be on expiration status.*
